He said, \u201cAs Catholics, we have a power, and that power is prayer\u2014prayer for peace to come, not tomorrow, not the day after, but today.\u201d He invited the faithful to pray with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, \u201cto silence the sound of weapons.\u201d He added, \u201cWar is destruction. It produces nothing; it destroys everything\u2014lives, buildings, achievements, and the peace that we have worked so many years to build.\u201d The Bishop also called for unity among Catholics and with all others, encouraging everyone to work together in a spirit of solidarity, because we are one people called to build peace. \u201cBuild peace! Only peace leads us to harmony, development, and the strength that enables our lives to move forward,\u201d the Bishop emphasized. The celebration was also attended by representatives of the Department of Ministry of Cults and Religions of Kampong Speu, local authorities, as well as many national and international guests. Traeng Troyeng Parish is a sub\u2013pastoral center within the Phnom Penh Thmey Pastoral Center.
