Speakers from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, Caritas Cambodia Mental Health Center for Social Inclusion Program, as well as Professor Dr. Jens Clausen and Professor Dr. Edgar Kösler from the Catholic University of Applied Sciences Freiburg, Germany, attended and presented at this seminar.

According to Sophal Phon, director of the St. Paul Institute, this seminar’s primary objective is for “students and participants to create small projects in research according to their institutions at the end of the workshop.”

“This is a big goal that we have to achieve,” he added.

He continued that another goal is to strengthen and expand cooperation between partner universities, focusing on students studying social skills to develop society.

Phon further said that this workshop will enable  “students and participants to better understand the importance of research. The content is presented by professors with more than 25 years of experience in the field of social affairs and social inclusion.”

St. Paul’s Institute is a Catholic higher education institution that offers five major subjects: information technology, tourism, agriculture, English literature, and social work.

The St. Paul Institute has organized three workshops so far: the first in 2019, the second in 2021 via Zoom, and the third in early February 2024.
