Medal offered by H.E Ith Sam Heng
New Humanity was invited to attend the national workshop on “Dissemination of the Law on Protection and Promotion of Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the National Plan of Action for Persons with Disabilities including Landmine/ ERW Survivors”, On June 10, 2010.
During this event His Excellency ITH Sam Heng, Minister of Ministry of Social Affairs,
Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (MoSVY) , has granted official awards for outstanding
contributions in the sector of Disability. Among the rewarded organizations New Humanity received a gold medal for its work in favor of children with mental and intellectual impairments.
Besides, we also received a certificate signed by the Prime Minister, stating that NH is awarded a Gold Medal for its “good achievement in cooperation with local and international NGOs on Disability-Rehabilitation works and as testimony of gratitude from the Royal Government of Cambodia and Khmer people”.
